Abstracts
Like it is for any Artist, Abstracts are the closest to my heart, as they emerge from the echos of the voice of my Soul. I love to let my heart do the thinking and don't care about techniques and medium.
![]() The Infinite Blue, 24 x 40 cmThe Sky, the oceans, the lakes and rivers, I see you in everything that you have created, Your conch is the fountain of five elements, The source of primeval sound - Om .... The voice of the act of creation. I lose and find myself in the vastness of " Blue" Oh ! Krishna !! Everything that's blue ... .......... is nothing, but You ! | ![]() The missing Key, 60 x 50 cmsAs I wander in search of the key, The key that has drifted away from me, I see… what its lack has done to me, But there’s something that also tells me, That "unconditional"…is His love for me, For He knows what’s best for me… He never fails to place a thing perfectly, It is “ I " that often fails to see, What is…. right in front of me ! | ![]() "The Hidden Truth” 25X40 cmWe get carried away don’t we ? Often, by what our eyes see… It is there…… for us to see, Yes, the hidden Truth beneath ! I am told, only Knowledge is the key, The key to the Truth, hanging free, A lot like that leaf on my tree, At the heart of the garden in me ! When I learn to hear its whisper, The voice tends to get clearer, A thing of beauty to behold, That special meaning untold, It Is the Truth, hidden no longer, That grips me, as “ I ” get closer ! © Deepa |

![]() Tribal at heart, 80 x 100 cmsA mural that was born at the heart of my home with colours that truly represent my instinct to create. | ![]() Energise the Positives, 50x50 cmChalk Pastels on canvas We experience and create all kinds of different energies that affect how we feel and what we do throughout the day. We often tend to energize everything that comes in our contact by reacting to it. When we focus only on the positives and ignore the negatives, we stay calm and do more in a day. This painting is inspired by the calmness that is at the heart of energising the positives and making it a habit. | ![]() Nature's Cradle, 40 x 53 cmIt is tiny and feeble.. Almost invisible.. It carries the hope of a new life A reservoir of beauty, but fragile, Being rocked in her bosom, The seed stays loved and warm, It would soon be out in the world, Out of it’s mother’s cradle, fondled, It is on the firm faith of a tender heart, That nature’s love grows wide and vast. The next glass painting in " A glass apart series " |
![]() A Glass Apart, 47x39 cmFirst in the "Glass Apart" series, an abstract glass painting celebrating the positivity with which life greets us at various unexpected turns. | ![]() Beneath and Beyond, 65 x 40 cmThe mysteries of nature have always instigated man to believe in things he cannot see.... The beauty visible to his eyes, is a sheer over nature’s garden where mystery blooms !! This glass painting is inspired by the multiple layers of what man can and cannot see. | ![]() Enthusiasm, 25 X 40 cmIt’s a celebration of being in the moment, A magic spell that makes the mundane, exhilarant!! It’s source lies in the “ stillness ” Yet, is in everything that traverses, It’s contagious ripples sweep through every being you meet, It is the twinkle in your eyes and every speck of light you greet, It is the smile of your soul, an incentive for the senses, It’s an assurance that whatever life offers, Is a choice that we make for ourselves !! |
